Cassie Herwarth, DVM

Dr Cassie moved to London,Kentucky from Michigan when she was three years old. It was then that she discoverd what a joy dogs and cats are, as well as learned that so many other animals existed, and knew that she wanted to take care of them when she grew up. She met Butterscotch at eight years old and Oreo at sixteen, who taught her about the unconditional love and beautiful bonds they forge with our fury companions, as well as medicine  through her first year of Veterinary school and into practice. 

She joined the team at London Veterinary Clinic in 2011 and worked as an on the job trained assistant as she finsihed high school, undergrad and on breaks while attending Auburn University College of Medicine. In 2022,  she graduated and moved back home to continue as a Veterinarian. 

Her perfessioal interest focus on dogs and cats, though she  hopes to lay the groundwork to see other small mammals in the future. Her areas of interest include preventative medicine, nutrition, behavioral/anxiety, soft tissue surgery and internal medicine.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoy spoiling her  dogs and cats, writing YA/ fantasy novels, drawing, gaming and annyoing her husband with her OCD tendencies.
